Accelerating Sitecore’s Journey across the globe at Sitecore DX 2023
Sitecore DX was the leading global event series designed to help brands accelerate their adoption of a composable DXP. These free, one-day events featured executive keynotes, guest speakers, partner-led workshops, and breakout sessions where Sitecore experts and customers shared their experiences with composable solutions.
Based on feedback indicating that customers were eager to move to composable solutions but needed more detailed guidance, Sitecore introduced smaller regional events. These events allowed for more in-depth conversations and provided valuable in-person content.
As an in-house designer, I supported Sitecore's global initiative by designing and launching the event series' main and regional websites. I also created branded email campaigns and social media graphics, ensuring a consistent and engaging visual presence across all platforms.
Event Website
Being a global event, the DX series required an umbrella site that housed links to each regional event, and event microsites that provided updates specific to that region. We used a combination of the RainFocus event platform and Sitecore CMS, before switching entirely over to Sitecore to host our sites.

Working with the content and event team, we found a way to templatize each microsite so that we could easily stand up sites when new locations were announced.

Bespoke Email Template
In order to stand out from the standard Sitecore emails, a branded template just for the DX series was provided. We were able to swap out the event logo at the top to make each email specific to it’s region.
